Tracy Nicolle Lewis is an award winning communicator, with more than 20 years' experience in communications through traditional and emerging media. She crafts and curates the messages that speak to and empower a generation of leaders and change agents. Tracy started her career in television as a news producer and transitioned into marketing and communications. Currently, she leads the marketing and communications team as Director of Marketing at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Tracy is a military brat, born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent most of her childhood traveling the world, and calls Northwest Florida home. The ability to see and experience the world has shaped her cultural, societal and world views, and plays a key role in her support of student recruitment and retention at ASU. She is passionate about and supports causes, organizations and business that uplift and empower.
Tracy is a member of several organizations including, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Mu Omega International Business Honors Society, Greater Phoenix Urban League, NAACP Maricopa County and Phoenix AKARAMA Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production-Journalism, a Master of Business Administration with a Marketing specialization, certifications in digital arts and sound engineering, and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication. Over the years she has earned numerous awards including a Telly Award® and regional Emmy® Awards.
