Tracy Lewis is an award winning communicator, with more than 20 years' experience in communications through traditional and emerging media. She crafts and curates the messages that speak to and empower a generation of leaders and change agents. Tracy started her career in television as a news producer and transitioned into marketing and communications. Currently, she is the the Assistant Director of Communications within the Academic Enterprise Communications team ASU.
Tracy is a military brat, born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent most of her childhood traveling the world, and calls Northwest Florida home. The ability to see and experience the world has shaped her cultural, societal and world views, and plays a key role in her support of student recruitment and retention at ASU. She is passionate about and supports causes, organizations and business that uplift and empower.
Tracy also serves as the Graduate Advisor for the award winning Zeta Alpha chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® at ASU. She is a member of Delta Mu Omega International Business Honors Society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production-Journalism from the University of West Florida, a Master of Business Administration with a Marketing specialization from the University of Phoenix, and several certifications. In 2022, she was honored with a Telly Award® for her work as Director and Executive Producer of a project with The Greater Phoenix Urban League. During her tenure as a television producer she was honored with two regional Emmy Awards for team coverage and best morning broadcast.
