Long Bio
Nathan Lyon is a Web & Digital Content Assistant with the University Design Institute (UDI) at Arizona State University (ASU). Nathan contributes to UDI's content and creative strategy by managing unit-led websites and overseeing content creation across multiple platforms, including web, social media, and email. He is currently contributing to a strategic overhaul of UDI’s primary website and deliverables for the UPSKILL program, focusing on improving user experience, enhancing content quality, and aligning digital assets with the program's broader objectives.
Along with his role at UDI, Nathan is a third-year student majoring in Digital & Integrated Marketing Communications at the W.P. Carey School of Business. He serves as the Professional Development Chair of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at ASU, where he helps organize and facilitate career-focused initiatives for members, further strengthening his leadership development journey.
In Nathan’s previous role as Marketing & Communications Coordinator within the Social Embeddedness Team, he produced content highlighting the university's partnerships with community members and organizations across social platforms, while producing deliverables for the unit and its partners and stakeholders. Additionally, he acted as a Marketing & Communications Intern with Collaboratory, ASU's partner and community engagement platform designed to capture how faculty and staff collaborate with the community to address challenges.
As Nathan continues to develop his career, he aims to leverage his media expertise to support the growth of businesses and institutions. He is dedicated to helping higher education institutions clearly articulate their mission and values, enhancing their impact on the communities they serve.
