Research Interests
Main research interests:
(1) Innovation models based on collaboration, technology transfer and university-industry relationship.
Interested in studying the effects of bilateral collaboration between universities and industries, identifying characteristics/barriers that help/hinder more organic transfer processes in Latin America.
(2) Entrepreneurship ecosystems in Latin America and developing countries.
In this sense, she is interested in evaluating the role of University Business Incubators, their sustainability models, success indicators and the impact they can generate in early stage ventures.
On the other hand, the financing of business incubators, whether they should be profitable or rather it is a role of universities to deliver entrepreneurship competencies and methodologies to students to simply fulfill their mission function rather than considering a revenue mechanism for the University.
She is also interested in evaluating regional entrepreneurship ecosystems and how through the generation of these ecosystems there is the generation and transfer of knowledge among actors.
