Long Bio
I study micrometeorites, which are tiny dust particles from space, using a variety of laboratory techniques including electron microprobe analysis and nanoscale secondary ion mass spectrometry. Specifically, I am interested in how their isotopic and chemical compositions can be affected by processes on their parent body, such as aqueous alteration, and when they enter the atmosphere of Earth. I also look at what and how much material, such as ingredients for life, they may provide to other planets, asteroids, and/or moons in our Solar System. Outside of my main research, I love getting involved in and learning more about science education and outreach.
