Long Bio
Native from Rome, Ilaria Tabusso-Marcyan studied at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Italian Studies from UC San Diego. Before joining ASU in 2022, she taught Italian language, culture and literature at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, where she also was interim coordinator for the Institute for Food. Ilaria's research focuses on farming and food cultures, food justice and food activism, Environmental Humanities and Environmental Cultural Studies.
