Long Bio
Yao-Chi (Kris) Yang is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, studying Supply Chain Management and Business Data Analytics. He is also a student in Barrett, The Honors College. His academic interests include supply chain systems, business analytics, international partnerships and Taiwan-Arizona cooperation in education and industry.
Kris works with ASU’s International Students and Scholars Center Taiwanese Initiatives team, supporting outreach, student engagement, event preparation and media-related projects for the Taiwanese student community. His work includes assisting with communications, helping organize student-centered programs and supporting projects that connect Taiwanese students with campus, career and community resources.
As part of this role, Kris has contributed to initiatives related to Taiwanese student support, cultural programming, career development and community engagement. He has also supported collaborations involving ASU partners and external community organizations, including programs connected to professional development and Taiwan-related engagement in Arizona.
Kris’s broader interests are shaped by his studies in supply chain management and business data analytics, as well as his experience working with international student programming. He is particularly interested in how universities can support talent development, cross-cultural communication and practical connections between students, industry and communities.
Through his academic and campus work, Kris hopes to continue learning about the role of higher education in global partnerships, especially in areas related to Taiwan, Arizona, business analytics and supply chain development.
Research Interests
Data-driven talent supply chains, Taiwan-Arizona semiconductor partnerships, international higher education strategy and cross-border workforce development.
