Long Bio
Jean Charles Chapuis is an associate research professor with the School of Molecular Sciences. After receiving his B.S. degree from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, he obtained his Ph.D. at that same university in a joint endeavor between the School of Pharmacy and the Swiss Institute for Cancer Research (ISREC). Following postdoctoral research at the Cancer Center, University of Rochester (NY), he joined Arizona State University. Pursuing his lifetime goal of discovering new and potentially useful anticancer drugs to eradicate cancer, he has been in charge of the bio-guided evaluations of all the samples screened at this institution for Regents' Professor George Pettit and his team of chemists and collaborators.
