Ana-Christina is interdisciplinary by trade, with a BA from Indiana University in Literature and Latino Studies, an MFA from Virginia Tech in Creative Writing, and a PhD from Florida Atlantic University in Comparative Studies with a focus in Latinx Literature & Politics. As such, she approaches her teaching holistically, and encourages students to bring their own interests and expertise into the classroom. Her research focuses on how cultural productions reflect political attitudes.
