Benjamin Agyei-Owusu

Benjamin Agyei-Owusu is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University — a top-five U.S. business school whose supply chain program is consistently ranked among the top three nationally by U.S. News & World Report. He teaches across global supply operations, operations management, and logistics, with an emphasis on translating supply chain theory into practice for the next generation of supply chain professionals.

Dr. Agyei-Owusu earned his PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, where his dissertation examined digital transformation and supply chain value co-creation. Before joining the faculty, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the WATTS Global Center for Technology Transfer at ASU, and a Lecturer in KNUST's Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems.

His research examines supply chain capabilities, sustainable supply chains, supply chain information systems, digital transformation, technology transfer, and quality management. His work has appeared in journals including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Logistics Management, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management, and Management Research Review, and has been cited more than 900 times.

Dr. Agyei-Owusu is a fellow of the Brew Hammond Energy Centre at KNUST and a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, the Association for Information Systems, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
