Benjamin Agyei-Owusu is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the NASPO Department of Supply Chain Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in operations management and logistics, with an emphasis on translating supply chain theory into practice for the next generation of supply chain professionals.
Dr. Agyei-Owusu earned his PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, where his dissertation examined digital transformation and supply chain value co-creation. Before joining the faculty, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Global Center for Technology Transfer at ASU, and a Lecturer in KNUST's Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems.
His research examines the digital transformation of supply chains, sustainable supply chains, and technology transfer. His work has appeared in journals including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, the Journal of Technology Transfer, and the International Journal of Information Management, and has been cited more than 1,000 times.
Dr. Agyei-Owusu is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute, the Association for Information Systems, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
