Hi! I am a therapist, consultant, and advocate currently completing a Master’s in Human Rights & Social Justice at Arizona State University (virtual program). My academic and professional journey is rooted in a commitment to inclusivity, progress, and dismantling systems of oppression across therapy, education, and community spaces. I hold a BA in Sociology & Anthropology, where my undergraduate research focused on “Hyper Masculine Variables in Media,” a qualitative analysis exploring gender representation. My MA in Counseling included a literature review examining the “Most Effective Interventions for those on the Autism Spectrum.”
At ASU, I have completed a statistical analysis project titled “Exploring Trauma & Reparations Narratives in the News Regarding Immigrants in the USA,” utilizing diverse research methods. My ongoing academic interests center on trauma-informed approaches, health and social justice, decolonizing therapy spaces, and advocating for reparations and restitutions for those harmed by the Global North.
Professionally, I have worked as a Community Specialist with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, served on an Intensive In-Home team, worked as a School Therapist, and conducted intake assessments in community mental health. I have managed outpatient caseloads, served as a Certified Forensic Evaluator, and for the past three years, have provided tele-psychotherapy in private practice. Last year, I launched my own PLLC, expanding my online therapy work to include therapeutic design, consulting, peer support, and more. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, disability advocacy, and intersectional, anti-oppressive frameworks. I am passionate about creating accessible, inclusive spaces that honor lived experience and foster healing, both individually and collectively.
