Vikas Garg is currently working as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Chemistry in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University, Polytechnic Campus. His areas of teaching involve organic chemistry and drug discovery related courses. He earned his Master's degree in chemistry from Arizona State University. He then completed his Ph.D in organic chemistry under Professor Devens Gust at Arizona State University, where his research involved design and synthesis of artificial photosynthetic systems capable of capturing solar energy and converting it to chemical energy. After completing Ph.D, he worked as an Instructor of Organic Chemistry in the Department of Chemstry and Biochemistry at Arizona State University, Tempe Campus for four years before moving to the Polytechnic Campus.
