Kanit has a passion for business process improvement. She has over 15 years of experience in higher education. Kanit has served as international student service assistant, international student advisor, interim SEVIS database coordinator, assistant director for international students, and HR business process analyst. She is currently a Business Analyst Senior supporting Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation (MLFC) initiatives in technology operations team, including placement management system for professional experiences, process design, and process improvement.
Kanit has worked on supporting ASU international student success while ensuring regulatory compliance. Her major accomplishments are improving high-volume student document request workflows by shifting from paper processes to electronic processes, managing a high-traffic office operation and high-impact projects, such as leading policy interpretation and implementation. She has experience working with various Human Resources teams (Employee Relations, Compensation, Leaves, and HR Administration) at Maricopa County Community College District and its associated Community Colleges to streamline business processes, develop standard operating procedures and served as a Business Analyst for the new employee relations case management software implementation project.
Kanit holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. She is a dedicated learner and is always excited to acquire new knowledge and skills. Kanit has a keen interest in technology, business processes, and lifelong learning. She also enjoys learning about new cultures through their cuisine, seeking out new recipes and authentic food experiences.
