Long Bio
Dr. Delon Washo-Krupps joined the faculty at ASU in 2004. She teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology, and occasionally Microbiology and General Biology classes. Dr. Washo-Krupps teaches both on-campus and ASU Online courses, and is a Barrett Honor Faculty member. Dr. Washo-Krupps has a B.S. in Zoology from Northern Arizona University (1993) and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arizona (2000). She completed her post-doctoral research at the Arizona Cancer Center in Tucson, AZ, where she studied the effects of antioxidants on breast and colon cancer cells.
An extra-curricular passion of Dr. Washo-Krupps is animal rescue. She is the founder and director of AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that is dedicated to providing rescue and safe haven for dogs in need.
