Tejaswi Gowda is an incoming assistant professor in the School of Arts, Media and Engineering with the Herberger School of Design and Arts. His interests include Internet of Things and full-stack cloud computing. He has worked on real-time systems solutions for a range of applications including wearable technologies, web technologies, MLOps and more. He has applied these technologies in service of many community-embedded projects. Gowda is passionate about teaching and dedicated to empowering students with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to thrive in the XR industry and beyond. Currently he teaches AME 220: Programming for the Web, AME 394: Programming the Internet of Things, AME 494: Programming for the Social-Interactive Web. When not at ASU, he is working on his startup that specializes in full-stack development and IoT consulting and product design.
