Kelly Knudson is the Assistant Dean of Faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is also a Professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, where she directs the Center for Bioarchaeological Research and the Archaeological Chemistry Laboratory. Her research focuses on human responses to climate change and mobility and migration in the past through biogeochemistry. Funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute of Justice, Knudson has authored more than 110 peer-reviewed papers and two textbooks, and has co-edited two edited volumes.
