Heather Marek is delighted to be teaching courses that reflect her areas of expertise- written and verbal communications. She has been teaching since 2005 and currently works as a Knowledge Engineer where she creates and manages digital content. Prior teaching accolades include Instructor of the Month (awarded twice) and Faculty Member of the Quarter.
Ms. Marek’s courses do more than simply prepare a student for a specific career. She prepares students for their future academic experiences and for life. On average a person will change career paths at least three times. Written and verbal communication courses provide the type of professional development that will help a student to be successful in a variety of environments. They will enhance students’ abilities to present their ideas in an organized, time-constrained format and express themselves objectively, subjectively and creatively. They will provide students with additional communication skills needed while they are developing and expanding their professional careers.
