Bryan Smith is a Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of English at Arizona State University. He teaches a wide selection of courses in areas within applied linguistics. He is also the Director of the Graduate Certificate in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). His research focuses on the intersection of CALL and Second Langauge Acquisition. He is editor (along with Ana Oskeoz) of the CALICO Journal, which is an international journal devoted to research and discussion on technology and language learning.
