Italian by birth and passionate about the language and culture of her native country, Dal Martello has been teaching Italian language and culture courses at Arizona State since 1996.

Paul Kei Matsuda is Professor of English and Director of Second Language Writing. He has published widely on issues related to language, writing, identity, mentoring, and professional development.

Robert Kleinsasser is a member of the graduate faculty doctoral interdisciplinary area committees in applied linguistics and learning, literacies and technologies.

Restrepo is a professor of speech and hearing science and associate dean for research. Her research focuses on better understanding bilingual children’s language and literacy skills.

Prior holds a PhD in second language acquisition and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in linguistics, applied linguistics, discourse and interaction analysis, sociolinguistics, qualitative methods, and TESOL.

Ebru Türker is an associate professor of Korean at ASU and affiliated with the Department of English’s LAL/TESOL program. Her research spans second language acquisition, cognitive linguistics, and multimodal discourse.

Beas is interested in in linguistic typology and in the formal and generative approach to language.
