Dr. Cheryl Pence teaches in the ASU School of Social Work. She is also research faculty Project and Director of a $1.92 million four-year Behavioral Health Workforce and Training grant at Western Kentucky University Counseling and Student Affairs Dept.
Nidia Hernández, LCSW, MSW, MPA, is a Social Work PhD student at ASU's school of social work. As a bilingual clinician, her research interest is exploring culturally and linguistically affirming mental health approaches for BIPOC communities.
