Green is the Director of the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions. His research focuses on polymers for use in applications such as water purification, carbon dioxide capture, and nanocomposites.

A northern California native, Candice McKenzie works to maintain the public health of those in the City of Napa and surrounding communities through drinking water and watershed analysis.

Tong's research focuses on desalination and water purification. He has received numerous awards, including the 2022 National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) Award.
