Grant McFadden directs the Biodesign Center for Immunotherapy, Vaccines, and Virotherapy (BCIVV) at ASU. The McFadden lab studies how poxviruses that cause immunosuppression interact with the host immune system.

My current work is creating a peripheral neuron synaptogenesis model in order to better examine the mechanisms of Herpes Simplex Virus exocytosis from synapses.
