Dr. Jurutka is an endocrinologist applying novel approaches in molecular medicine to investigate human health and disease, including: cancer, nutraceuticals, IBS/IBD, drug discovery, Alzheimer’s, and vitamin D neurobiology.

For more than two decades, Bimonte-Nelson has conducted preclinical evaluations of multiple domains of cognitive function as related to aging. She heads the Neuroscience of Memory and Aging Laboratory at ASU.

Orchinik is a neuroscientist who studies how stress alters behavior, brain function, and the endocrine system. He is also interested in science education research, particularly in how undergraduates learn core concepts,
