Diana Jacobson designed the graduate pediatric curriculum for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of primary care and community experience.

Ohri-Vachaspati is a professor of nutrition and leads the ASU Food Environment and Policy research group. Her research examines social and ecological determinants of health, specifically in low-income minority communities.

Williams is the past associate director of the Mayo Clinic/ASU Obesity Solutions initiative.

Perez's program of research encompasses both theoretical and applied studies in the area of maladaptive eating, health and mental health, often using a focus on Latino populations.

Whisner's research focuses on the effects of diet on human metabolism.

Smith's research interests include mindfulness, bariatric surgery, substance abuse, meditation and obesity.
