Dr. Jurutka is an endocrinologist applying novel approaches in molecular medicine to investigate human health and disease, including: cancer, nutraceuticals, IBS/IBD, drug discovery, Alzheimer’s, and vitamin D neurobiology.

Dr. Leischow's research is clinical and translational, with a focus on pharmacologic and behavioral treatments for tobacco dependence, tobacco regulatory science, and systems and network approaches to population health.

Dr. Sheikh's research focuses on developing statistical methodologies for survival and longitudinal data analysis within the Bayesian framework, which are motivated by challenging applications in complex diseases.
