Dr. Wachter's goal is to generate applied research for local, national, and international practitioners and policy makers to alleviate the psychosocial consequences of forced migration and violence against women.

Oranli's research and teaching interests include Social and Political Philosophy, Continental philosophy, Theories of Evil, Postcolonial theory, Genocide Studies and Feminist Ethics.

Katzenstein is a cultural anthropologist working at the intersections of American studies, critical race studies, and political anthropology. Her current project explores how U.S. police translate and resist reform efforts.
