Garcia joined ASU in 2017. Prior, she was the executive director at the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara.

My overarching philosophy of teaching and of my curatorial practice involves building bridges among people through art and culture, promoting understanding, awareness, and equity, and promoting global views of art/cultures.

Jinglin Li is a PhD candidate specializing in medieval Chinese art history, focusing on murals, caves, and stone/brick reliefs.

Chelsea Haines researches modern and contemporary art and architecture of the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East; intersections between modernism and (inter)nationalism; and histories of museums and exhibitions.

Danielle Marie Ochoa is a textile and fashion designer pursuing an MA Art History at ASU. Her research areas include Mesoamerican material culture and the textile traditions of present-day indigenous peoples in the Americas.
