Huff is focused on using remotely sensed data to produce maps. Her study sites range from the seafloor of Santorini Volcano, Greece, to the Athabasca lava flows of Mars.

Julia Clarke is a first-year Ph.D. student in Geological Sciences working under Christy Till in the EPIC Lab. Her research focuses on magma storage conditions and eruption mechanisms at hazardous volcanoes in the Cascades.
