Dasarathy's research interests span topics in machine learning, statistics, signal processing and networked systems, and information theory.

He leads the new Battery Electric and Intelligent Vehicle, or BELIV, Lab at ASU to contribute to the development of safe, clean and energy-efficient intelligent transportation systems.
