D'Ardenne works in ASU's Decision Neuroscience Lab, where she focuses on using neuroimaging methods to non-invasively study human brainstem nuclei.

Dr. Kingsbury is a Teaching Professor in Anatomy and Physiology, and Associate Dean. He also serves as the director of the STEM Teaching Global Intensive Experience in Costa Rica.

Ian Hogue is a virologist who studies how alpha herpesviruses, including human Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV-1), infects the nervous system.

Sara's research focuses on the role of genetic mutations in brain development and childhood disease. She is particularly interested in how inhibitory neurons contribute to brain function and dysfunction.

As part of the Velazquez Lab in Biodesign's Neurodegenerative Disease Research Center, I am investigating mechanisms of basal forebrain cholinergic neuron alteration in Down syndrome and Alzheimer's disease.
