Dr Kanthaswamy’s research focuses on population and evolutionary genetics and forensic DNA analysis.

Dr. Sweat’s teaching and research focuses on plant biology, forensic botany and environmental science.

Sartorio has taught various subjects in forensics for in-person and online degrees.

Studies how biological tools can be used to increase accuracy and precision in forensic entomology and biology disciplines, with a focus on genomic, transcriptomic and ecological studies. 

April Stonehouse joined the School of Interdisciplinary Forensics as Professor of Practice in 2024 after 23 years as forensic serologist and DNA analyst, CODIS admin, and DNA Leader in government crime labs.
