Nadesan teaches courses that look at risk and crisis communications, bio-ethics, economic and corporate communication, propaganda and online social advocacy, and interpretive and critical methods.

Sara El-Sayed is the outreach coordinator for the Arizona Transition to Organic Partnership Program. She does research in Swette's two focal areas of "power of deliciousness" and "wisdom of Indigenous foodways".

Spackman studies the environmental and social impact of scientific and technological efforts to manipulate sensory experiences of smelling and tasting.
