Capistrano is based in Hainan University–Arizona State University International Tourism College in Haikou, China. He is interested in the sociology of tourism, biodiversity and tourism, and community development.

Erwe Dong is Assistant Dean and Clinical Professor in Hainan University - Arizona State University International Tourism College (HAITC) at the ASU School of Community Resources and Development.

Popi is currently a Fulbright scholar pursuing a PhD at ASU's School of Community resources and Development. He is a junior instructor and lecturer in the Department of Tourism at Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia.

Kim is the graduate coordinator and associate professor of Hainan University–Arizona State University Joint International Tourism College and an associate professor in the School of Community Resources and Development.
