Sipe's research focuses on the release and breakdown of emerging contaminants from materials (i.e. microplastics) to create a more sustainable future through lifecycle analysis focusing on environmental and public health.

Dr. Wu’s research focuses on electron, phonon, and magnon transport, exploring nanoscale energy transport and conversion through first-principles approaches, as well as material thermal and electrical transport properties.
