Chen teaches Buddhism and Chinese Religions at ASU. He has numerous publications on Buddhism, Chinese Religions, and Silk Road Studies.

Rishi’s scholarship works between premodern Chinese literary and religious studies, spanning contexts of Buddhism, Chinese poetry, translation, and Sino-Indian comparative studies.

ZHANG Jie specializes in Art History and Religious Studies. Her research focuses on Sino-European art exchange and Buddhist-Christian encounter in printed illustrations of the early modern and modern periods.
