Telep's research focuses on synthesizing research to assess what works in policing; partnering with agencies to examine the impact of police practices on crime, disorder and citizen perceptions of legitimacy.

Marcus is a third-year Sociology Ph.D. student and research assistant at the BRIDGS Initiative. His work examines Black youth development, NBA Foundation-funded initiatives, and Social Return on Investment (SROI).
