Long Bio

Mary Muñoz Encinas is an education, arts, and sustainability practitioner currently serving as the project coordinator for ASU's HeatReady Initiatives, which are aimed at advancing heat readiness and resilience efforts at the school, neighborhood and city levels. Mary creates tailored learning experiences in formal and informal education settings to creatively raise awareness around equity, social justice, and resilience, and support efforts on preparedness, adaptation, and mitigation to extreme heat risks.
