Narayanan Neithalath is the Fulton Professor of Structural Materials in the Ira Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. He obtained his PhD from Purdue University in 2004. He has extensively worked and published on sustainable cementitious systems such as binary and ternary limestone blends, alkali activated concretes, phase change material-embedded systems, and carbonated binders. His recent research areas include additive manufacturing (3D printing) of concrete, sustainable binder synthesis, and carbon-efficient and novel manufacturing methods for cement. He has published more than 200 papers in refereed journals, and delivered invited and keynote lectures at several conferences and workshops. He is a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute and a winner of ASCE’s Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prize.
