Long Bio
Deryc T. Painter is an Assitant Research Professor in the School of Complex Adaptive Systems. As a computational historian, he studies innovation, interdisciplinarity, the Anthropocene, and modeling at varying scales. He recieved his bachelor's and PhD in biology at Arizona State University.

Research Interests
Deryc is interested in the interplay between interdisciplinarity and innovation and how that interplay can be leveraged to identify, analyze, and construct algorithms to increase the probability of innovation.
