Michèle Van Haecke is a professional writer and editor, media and literary scholar, and web developer who has taught university courses in person and online for more than a decade. Her academic focus encompasses writing, environmental humanities, American Indian literature, and media literacy. In addition to higher education, her professional background includes journalism, marketing and strategic planning, social media marketing, and sustainable planning. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English from the University of Montana and a bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She currently serves as an Instructional Aide in Composition for the ASU Learning Enterprise.
