Mohamed Almahdi is a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics program at Arizona State University, Tempe. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Al Bayda, Libya, and a master’s degree from Colorado State University. His research interests are corpus linguistics, CALL, second language writing, sociolinguistics, and SLA. Mohamed’s current research focuses on the innovative use of AI tools to enhance academic writing skills.
