Susila Bhagavathula is a Ph.D. student in sustainability at Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability.
Susila’s research interests revolve around the intersection of sustainability, emergency management, resilience, capacity building, and governance. Specifically, she is focusing on governance related to heat.
Prior to joining ASU, Susila worked on sustainable mobility solutions, and increasing the resilience of the transportation sector as well as policy work. She was trained in Geoecology and Environmental Sciences, focusing on environmental policy.
