Robert Fuller is a faculty associate in the School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies. He is a historian of apocalypticism, fundamentalism, and how religious beliefs have influenced popular attitudes towards environmental science and activism. He earned his Ph.D. from ASU in 2024 and his dissertation which examined how and why evangelical attitudes towards the environmentalism have shifted dramatically over the past half-century should be published in 2025.
When not in the classroom or the archive, Robert is often assisting with the production of history-related programs for television and YouTube series. He serves as a frequent guest expert for the History Channel's History's Greatest Mysteries and was the host of the Study Hall: Modern World History series produced by ASU in collaboration with Complexly.
