Amy Weber is committed to integrated, multidisciplinary education and training. She possesses multidisciplinary training in public and behavioral health sciences, with research interests and experiences in women's reproductive health across the lifespan (from puberty through menopause), health decision-making with an emphasis on patient self-advocacy, and informed/shared decision-making, as well as rural health, behavioral health disparities, and performance of public health agencies, including practice-based public and behavioral health research networks.

Amy Weber has developed innovative, mindfulness-based, integrated behavioral health programs within federal and state correctional institutions. Her work has also examined patterns in clinical service delivery and patient utilization of services across rural and urban areas, organizational barriers and facilitators to service utilization, and the role of inter-organizational partnerships in health services provision among rural, suburban, and urban health organizations. Her most recent work focuses on menopause care, with particular emphasis on tailored hormone replacement therapy and informed/shared decision-making to support women in navigating treatment options, risks, benefits, and personal values during this life stage.
