Dr. Gómez-Morales’ research centers on developing skill-building interventions for caregivers of people with dementia, including a virtual reality component, as well as programs designed for individuals living alone with cognitive decline. Her work also aims to deepen our understanding of the role of secondary caregivers and their families. In addition, she is committed to exploring environmental considerations in care delivery and identifying greener approaches that can benefit both the community and the broader care system.
