Roxanna Figueroa is a bilingual higher education professional and program leader dedicated to expanding college access and advancing equity for Latino communities. With nearly four years of experience at Arizona State University, she has led initiatives spanning outreach, student success, and research operations.
She currently serves as Program Coordinator at the Center for Latina/o/os and American Politics Research (CLAPR), where she manages operations, leads project timelines, and coordinates programming that bridges research and community impact. Roxanna has successfully planned and executed over a dozen large-scale events in a single academic year, strengthening engagement and visibility for the center’s work. She also supervises student staff and contributes to grant writing efforts that sustain and grow key initiatives.
Previously, as Program Manager for WeGrad and HMDP, Roxanna led college access programming across multiple school communities, advising students and families through the admissions process and facilitating workshops that support educational attainment. Her earlier work in the Office of the Registrar grounded her in student services, where she resolved thousands of cases and supported institutional operations with precision and care.
Roxanna holds a Master’s degree in Educational Policy from Arizona State University and brings strengths in program management, data-informed decision-making, and community-centered engagement. Across all her roles, she is committed to creating pathways for students to access, navigate, and succeed in higher education.
