I am a scholar-practitioner and a PhD candidate of Education Policy and Evaluation at Arizona State University. I work on internationalization of higher education and its impact on universities in the global south (esp India). My other research interests are issues of access and equity in higher education access, the landscape of the public university, student experience and success, higher education policy and quality assessment. I am also interested in equity in STEM learning, and futures thinking programs.
I have 5+ years of experience working in the higher education sector in India in various roles in program management, consultancy, education technology, and professional development. I have worked for organizations such as the World Bank, Harappa Education, Ashoka University and Google. My core competencies are program evaluation, program management, policy analysis, and communication.

My research is guided by the following questions:
1. What is the impact of internationalization and globalization of higher education on higher education systems in the Global South, especially regarding changes in university systems?
2. How do higher education systems in the Global South deal with twin challenges of social transformation, access and equity alongside internationalization?
3. What are the aspects of a normative idea of internationalization of higher education that focusses on the national agendas of countries in the Global South?
4. What are some issues of justice and equity in access to higher education in the following areas - admissions, cost of attendance, student experience?
