Long Bio
Lukas Wenrick serves as the Senior Director of Learning Innovations within the Learning Enterprise at Arizona State University. In his role, Lukas leads a team of innovators who incubate and advance 'discovery-stage' solutions. The team serves as a catalyst for creativity and innovation, enabling the Learning Enterprise to explore and develop cutting-edge educational initiatives and programs.
Lukas is a true believer that access and excellence in higher education are not mutually exclusive. He believes that collegiate institutions have a moral responsibility to expand educational access and success to as many individuals as possible and he works within the Learning Enterprise at ASU because of this aligned vision.
Prior to his current role, Lukas served as the Director of Universal Learner Courses, Director of Universal Learner Course Pathways, Assistant Director of the Learning Enterprise, Program Manager within the Office of Applied Innovation, and as a University Innovation Fellow within the Office of the President at Arizona State University.
Lukas is currently pursuing a doctorate in Leadership and Innovation from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. He holds a Master's of Education in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Education from Wright State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Analytics in Higher Education from Arizona State University. His experiences at an open-access public university, a national service university, and an elite private institution inform the work he does each day.
