Born and raised in Arizona, Dayanara Avilez is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions that enhance the well-being of Arizona’s communities. Dayanara is the Program Coordinator for Impact Water - Arizona, which fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, community engagement, and research-driven initiatives to address the state’s pressing water challenges.
Dayanara holds a Master of Sustainability Solutions and a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability from Arizona State University. Her academic work explored topics such as environmental-oriented workshops with a specialization in water, environmental justice, sustainability education, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
She is passionate about leveraging research and collaboration to develop actionable solutions that create a more sustainable present and future for all.
