Long Bio

Born and raised in Arizona, Dayanara’s passion lies in improving the lives of those living in Arizona by promoting sustainable means via research and project implementation. She aims to work and collaborate across disciplines to identify and push forward solutions that create a more sustainable present and future for all. Past research topics and interests include human-wildlife interactions and coexistence, intersectionality, environmental justice, sustainable cities, accessible sustainability education, decision-making frameworks, environmental-oriented workshops, and more.
