Jessica Button has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Student Teaching Supervisor in the Mary Lou Fulton College of Teaching and Learning Innovation since 2020. A proud ASU graduate (go Sun Devils!), she earned her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Arizona State University.
With over 20 years of experience in education, including 13 years teaching in K–12 classrooms in the Osborn School District in Phoenix, Jessica brings deep practical knowledge to her work in teacher preparation. During her time in the elementary classroom, she served as both a mentor and lead teacher for ASU interns and residents, giving her a unique perspective on the student teaching experience from both the mentor and candidate viewpoints.
Jessica is committed to supporting educators in delivering high-quality instruction and is passionate about helping aspiring teachers develop the skills, confidence, and professional identity needed to thrive in today’s classrooms.
