Maggie Mills serves as Program Manager, YE Curriculum for the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. Prior to joining the ASU family, Maggie held a Senior Zoologist position at Dallas Zoo, where she developed and conducted educational engagements for school groups and corporate donors as well as cared for and trained the zoo’s non-human primate collection. She also assisted in the research, design, and execution of curriculum-related programming as an Engagement Specialist for Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
Maggie earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Auburn University and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. To Maggie, entrepreneurship means trusting your passion and energy enough to take a chance on yourself. When you are willing to broaden your personal horizon and make room to grow your own ideas, your accomplishments will be limitless. In addition to surrounding herself with scientifically dynamic minds, Maggie enjoys hiking and baking.
